Orbotix Rolls Up With $4.0M More In Funding

Boulder-based robotic ball developer Orbotix has rolled up with $4.0M in new funding, according to a regulatory filing from the firm Friday. The filing says that the firm raised $4.0M, the first tranche in an ongoing, $10.0M fundraising effort by the company. No details of the new funding have yet been announced, however, the firm has previously raised funding from Foundry Group and Highway 12 Ventures. Orbotix develops the Sphero smartphone-controlled robotic balls, which can be programmed and manipulated with your iOS or Android device. More information »
