Stratavia Acquired By HP
Denver-based Stratavia, a developer of run book and IT automation software used for managing database and applications, has been acquired by HP, HP announced this morning. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. According to HP, the acquisition will offer its customers a one-stop shop for application automation. Stratavia was venture backed by Adams Street Partners, Asset Management Company, and Vista Ventures, and has raised somewhere around $10.0M in venture funding. The firm also was known as ExtraQuest, and was headed by Thor Culverhouse.
