Stratavia Shops Managed Services Business to Datavail
Denver-based Stratavia, a publisher of data center automation software, announced Wednesday that it has sold its managed services business to Datavail Corp., a start-up automation applications developer. Stratavia said it will also license its flagship data center automation title, Stratavia Data Palette, to Datavail as part of the deal. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Founded in 2001, Stratavia is a privately held company backed by Adams Street Partners, Asset Management Co. and Vista Ventures. Led by Michael Jones, Datavail is based in Denver and also maintains a support site in Mumbai, India.
