Spectra Logic Gets GSA Extension
Boulder, Colorado-based tape and data storage manufacturer Spectra Logic reports today that it has gained a five year extension of its U.S. Government Services Administration (GSA) contract. The firm said the extension means its products will be available through the GSA schedule through August of 2015. The GSA schedule is the U.S. government's list of pre-approved equipment which can be purchased more easily by its departments. Spectra Logic says has been in the top 10 percent of revenue-generating companies with GSA contracts for the past three years. The firm develops tape archiving and data backup products.
