Freewave Hails Military Flight Time
Denver, Colorado-based Freewave, a developer of spread spectrum radios used for data transmission, hailed its hours on unmanned military flihgts Tuesday. The firm said it has logged more than 800,000 hours of unmanned military flight time with its OEM partners. The firm said its radios are being used in combat missions for the U.S. Armed Forces. Freewave said it has been supplying military radios since 1997. The radios are used as part of military, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
