Freewave Gets Win In Peru

Boulder-based Freewave Technologies, the developer of spread spectrum wireless radios, reported today that it has been chosen by Petrobas Peru. Freewave said Petrobas, the sixth largest energy company in the world, is using its FreeWave radios at oil collection sites, treatment plants, water ejection sites and compression stations for a SCADA application. Financial details of the win were not disclosed.
