Limelight Networks Boosts Video Gaming Streaming Firm
Tempe, Arizona-based Limelight Networks, a provider of content delivery network services, is backing a developer of video game streaming technology, Gaikai. According to Gaikai, Limelight and Intel Capital have backed the firm as strategic investors in the firm. Amount of Limelight's investment in the company were not announced. Gaikai's technology allows computer gamers to play computer games via their browser, with no need for browser add-ons or downloadable components. More information »
