OneRiot Ties into Google Buzz
Boulder-based OneRiot, the real-time search engine firm run by Kimbal Musk, said today that it has tied in data from Google Buzz, the realtime social web service. According to OneRiot, it's one of the partners for Google Buzz firehose, an API which gives third party developers access to Google Buzz data. OneRiot said it would use the data to bolster its tracking of trending topics, which it already does for Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, and Digg. The service also said it would use the access to Google Buzz data to improve both ranking of pages on the service, as well as performance of its advertising network.
