OneRiot Launches Video Search Features
Boulder, Colorado-based OneRiot has launched a new, real-time search feature focused on video, and is looking to tap into the "current buzz" on web videos, the firm said today. The firm said that its online video search feature is moving from alpha to beta stage, and will allow users to find videos based on what is most popular with its users. The firm said it is looking to address traditional video search engines, which often return out-of-date content. The expansion into video follows the relaunch of the firm's focus on real-time search in November. OneRiot is venture backed by Commonwealth Capital, Appian Ventures, and Spark Capital.
