ProStor Adds To Board

Boulder-based ProStor Systems, which develops removable disk drive technology and products, announced today that it has added Jay Kidd to its board of directors. Kidd is currently Senior Vice President, Storage Solutions Group and Product Strategy and Development at NetApp. Kidd has also previously served at Broacde, Omneon Video Networks, Multigen, Silicon Graphics, and Hewlett Packard. ProStor said Kidd is the second, independent board member from the storage industry. The firm's board also includes representatives from investors NEA, Sutter Hill Ventures, Boulder Ventures, and Sequel Venture Partners. ProStor develops disk-drive based removable storage cartridges and related products, which it both licenses to others as well as sells through its own line of hardware.
