ProStor's RDX Drives Earn Third-Party Certification
ProStor Systems, a manufacturer of removable disk storage devices based in Boulder, Colorado, announced Monday that its line of RDX drives have been deemed compatible with several leading backup and recovery software products. The approving brands include CA ARCserve Backup, EMC Retrospect, Symantec Backup Exec and Yosemite Backup. ProStor said the announcement should convince users that they can safely use ProStor;s RDX drives to protect and restore critical data. ProStor develops RDX, a disk-based storage format which is targeted at tape technology replacement.
