Level 3 Links With GlobeNet

Broomfield, Colorado-based Level 3 Communications has linked up its network with a provider of submarine cable transmission capacity, GlobeNet, the firm said today, to extend its transport and high speed Internet services to South America. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Level 3 said it will offer its high speed Internet protocol (HSIP) services packaged with GlobeNet, for routes between South America and North America.
