Level 3 Communications Links Into Amazon Data Centers

Broomfield, Colorado-based Level 3 Communications said today that it has connected into Amazon Web Services, via Amazon's AWS Partner Network program. Level 3 said it now supports AWS Direct Connect, the Amazon program which gives carriers private network connection into Amazon's Web Services. Level 3 said the support provides direct access to every every AWS Direct Connect location, Amazon's various network connections to cut latency and improve application performance for users. AWS Direct Connect allows for direct, private connections between a user's data center and AWS.
