Avnet Rolls Embedded Unit

Phoenix-based electronics distributor Avnet Electronics Marketing said Thursday that the firm has opened up a new division focused on embedded products. The firm said the new Avnet Embedded division will be headed by Senior Vice President Jeff Ittel, and will provide single board computers, storage products, flat panels, operating systems, and integration services in the embedded solutions space.
