Avnet Acquires Azzurri Technology

Phoenix-based Avnet said today that it has agreed to acquire Azzurri Technology Ltd., a distributor of semiconductors and embedded systems products in the UK. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Avnet said that it wil integrate Azzurri into Avnet Electronics Marketing EMEA. Azzurri serves the UK, Germany, France, and Italy, and has annual revenues of approximately $100M US, with about 80 people. Avnet said that it expects the acquisition to be immediately accretive to the organization.
