Storage Industry Group Moves Tech Center To LSI Campus
The Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA), an industry group which represents manufacturers of storage networking equipment, said Wednesday that it is moving its Colorado Springs technology center to the campus of LSI Corporation. According to the SNIA, the new SNIA Technology Center will be moved to a new facility based at the LSI Corporation campus in ArrowWest, with more than 8,600 square feet of data center. Reason for the move was not announced. The SNIA had maintained its facility at HP's complex in Colorado Springs Technology Park for more than nine years. The SNIA originally leased space for its labs in late 2000 from Compaq, before Compaq's acquisition by HP. The SNIA hosts meetings, allows companies to conduct interoperability testing and demonstrations, and runs other programs and training from its technology center.
