ADA Technologies Gets $100k Contract
Littleton, Colorado-based AD Technologies, a provider of research and development, said today that it has received a $100,000 contract from the U.S. Air Force, focused on wing skin research for unmanned air vehicles. The firm said the contract covers research into wing shape morphing in UAVs, which is being used to improve the aerodynamic efficiency of those wings. The wing morphing technology is based on shape memory polymers (SMPs).
