Micron Switching to NASDAQ

Boise, Idaho-based Micron Technology, a manufacturer of memory products and other semiconductors, said today that it is switching its stock exchange listing from the NYSE to the NASDAQ Global Select market. According to Micron, the switch will be effective December 30th. Micron credited the presence of many other technology companies in the industry on the NASDAQ as a major reason for its switch of the exchange. The firm will continue to trade as MU.
