Overstock Partners On Toys for Tots Effort

Salt Lake City-based Overstock.com, an online retailer of discount goods, said yesterday that it has partnered with MerchSource, to collect donations for the U.S. Marine Corp Toys for Tots Program. Overstock said the partnership will allow customers of the firm to purchase toys, gifts, and electronics on its site and donate them directly to Toys for Tots. Overstock said it will designate 30 to 40 popular toy and gift products from MerchSource which can be purchased and donated directly to the campaign, with Overstock and merchSource covering the shipping expenses. The two companies say they have collected more than $400,000 in toy donations over the three years from working together.
