Omniture Acquisition Nears Close

The acquisition of Orem, Utah-based web analytics provider Omniture by Adobe Systems is expected to complete today, according to Adobe. Adobe said that it compelted its tender offer for all of the outstanding shares of common stock of Omniture, with approximately 86.68 percent of Omniture's issued and outstanding shares, or 68,125,532 shares, tendered. Adobe announced it would acquire Omniture September 15th, in a deal worth $1.8 billion.
