Qwest Exits Wireless Business

Denver-based Qwest said Tuesday that it has officially given notice to its customers that it is shutting down its wireless services. Current subscribers have 60 days to switch their service to another wireless provider. The firm said it would exit the business in 2008, and has since been offering Verizon Wireless services to its customers instead of offering its own product.
