Tendril Eyes DOE Energy Stimulus Grants
Boulder, Colorado-based Tendril, a developer of smart grid communications hardware and software, said Thursday that the firm is looking to partner with firms interested in gaining Department of Energy (DOE) energy stimulus grants. The firm said it will support partners with its technical advisors, grant writers, legal counsel and management staff interested in applying for those grants. The announcement comes a week after Tendril reported a major win with GE in providing smart grid input from GE's appliance products, and shortly after a $30M funding boost last month from VantagePoint Venture Partners, Good Energies, RRE Ventures, and Vista Ventures.
