Solera Taps Cisco For Marketing VP
Salt Lake City-based Solera Networks, a developer of network forensics and security products, reported today that it has hired Peter Schlampp as vice president of marketing and product management. The firm said that Schlampp's key responsibilities in the newly created role will be to direct all aspects of corporate and product marketing. He will report directly to Steve Shillingford, Solera's chief executive officer. Prior to his hiring, Solera said, Schlampp directed product management for IronPort Systems, which Cisco Systems acquired in 2007. At Cisco, Schlampp was most recently general manager of that company's India-based Security Technology business unit.
