Collective Intellect Gets MTV Networks Win
Boulder-based market research firm Collective Intellect is announcing this morning that it will provide real-time audience feedback to cable programming powerhouse MTV Networks. The financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. According to Collective Intellect, the strategic partnership encompasses all of MTV Networks' brands, including MTV, VH1, CMT, Comedy Central, Spike, TV Land and Nickelodeon. Collective Intellect explained that the real-time audience intelligence will grant MTV Networks a better understanding of its viewers' interests, habits and lifestyles. Founded in 2005, Collective Intellect is headquartered in Boulder, Colo. MTV Networks is a division of media conglomerate Viacom. Collective Intellect is venture backed by Appian Ventures, Crawley Hatfield Capital, Croghan Investments, and Grotech Capital Group.
