Envysion Looks For Funding

Louisville, Colorado-based Envysion, which operates a hosted, remotely managed video surveillance service being used by the retail industry, is apparently seeking a new investor, according to chairman Dan Caruso. Caruso, in his personal blog, said that the firm is in the midst of completing an inside round for the firm, but is looking for a new investor. Caruso said the firm is looking for a investor willing to invest around $5M in the firm over time, with a smaller initial investment. Envysion is venture backed by Columbia Capital, High Country Venture, and Bear Equity, the venture investment firm headed by Caruso. Envysion last raised a round of funding last August, when it pulled in $3M. The firm has raised around $12.5M so far in equity.
