Ancestry.com Promotes Wolfgramm to CTO
The Generations Network, operator of the genealogical and family history Web site Ancestry.com, reported today that it has promoted Mike Wolfgramm as chief technology officer and hired Jonathan Young as vice president of development. Wolfgramm, the Provo, Utah-based firm said, has been an employee since 1999, serving in various executive global technology roles before becoming senior vice president of technology. Young, the Generations Network said, will report to Wolfgramm and partner with Eric Shoup, Ancestry.com's vice president of product, to manage that subsidiary’s product strategy. The Generations Network noted that, prior to joining Ancestry.com, Young held an identical post at EarthLink.
