Ancestry.com Adds France, Italy

The Generations Network, operator of the popular genealogy Web site Ancestry.com, revealed Wednesday that it has expanded its coverage to France and Italy. With the addition of Ancestry.fr and Ancestry.it, The Generations Network said it now offers seven country-specific genealogy Web sites, including the United Kingdom's Ancestry.co.uk, Canada's Ancestry.ca, Germany's Ancestry.de and Australia's Ancestry.com.au. The new French and Italian Web sites will feature a networking platform that will allow users to collaborate and connect globally with other site users. The Generations Network is headquartered in Provo, Utah.
