Secure64 Software Gets Federal Win
Secure64 Software Corp. revealed Tuesday that a federal agency has licensed the Denver-area firm's Internet security utility in a bid to protect its domain name system infrastructure. The financial impact of the customer win was not disclosed. According to Secure64, the National Institute of Standards and Technology will deploy Secure64 DNS Signer to safeguard against DNS cache poisoning, pharming and redirection attacks by verifying data authenticity and integrity. A part of the Commerce Department, the institute's mission is to promote U.S. innovation and industrial competitiveness. Secure64 is headquartered in Greenwood Village, Colo.
