Secure64 Adds Government Integrator
Denver, Colorado-based Secure64, which develops secure DNS products used to protect Internet domain name servers from hacking, said Monday that the firm has inked an agreement with IT systems integrator Alvarez & Associates. The deal allows federal government customers to purchase the firm's product through the NASA SEWP (Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement) procurement process, which makes it easier for some departments to buy IT hardware and software. Secure64 said its products allow federal agencies to meet mandates for DNSSEC deployment and NIST guidelines for DNS security. Secure64's products are based on the firm's own, proprietary operating system, which the firm says makes it "immune" to compromise from rootkits and malware.
