CIBER Acquires Canon's Consulting Business

Greenwood Village, Colorado-based system integration outsourcing and consulting firm CIBER Inc. announced Monday that its acquisition of Canon U.S.A. Inc.'s Canon Technology Solutions subsidiary is official. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. According to CIBER, the acquisition will enable it to expand its Information Technology Outsourcing division—Canon Technology Solutions has provided IT consulting services since 1985. CIBER added that Canon Technology Solutions will undergo a name change at some point in the future and that CIBER will serve current CTS customers. Headquartered in Greenwood Village, Colo., CIBER maintains 60-plus offices in the United States, 25 in Europe and seven throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
