Omniture Targets Retailers With New Product
Orem, Utah-based Omniture is targeting retailers with a new product, saying this week that it has rolled out a new product called Discover OnPremise for Retail. The provider of web analytics software said the new product can be used to optimize merchandise, seasonal, and store operations planning--combining both analysis of online efforts and offline results. The firm said the new product will help retailers create better cross-channel promotions, reduce shopping card abandonment, and optimize product mix and placement. Among the features of the product, Omniture said the tool would help in visualizing demographics to identify new store locations.
