AdvancedMD Hires Sales EVP

AdvancedMD Software, a publisher of hosted software applications for medical practices and medical billing services, reported Wednesday that it has hired Christopher J. Bijou as executive vice president of sales. In this role, the Salt Lake City, Utah-based company noted, Bijou will oversee its inside, field-based and channel sales operations. He will report to Eric C. Morgan, AdvancedMD's chief executive. Prior to his hiring with the company, AdvancedMD said, Bijou served as senior vice president of sales at UCN Inc. Before that, he spent six years at Oracle Corp., ultimately rising to the role of senior director of sales for Oracle’s CRM product line in the United States and Canada.
