Rebit Takes $5.7M For Backup Products

Longmont, Colorado-based Rebit announced today that it has raised $5.7m in a Series B round of financing. The firm, which develops software for continuous backup of PCs, said the round came from Access Venture Partners, Grotech Ventures, and Highway 12 Ventures. The firm also said an undisclosed private individual--the firm's original investor--has invested in its Series B funding. Rebit's backup products plug into Windows PCs via a USB port, and provides continuous backup of data. The firm's product also provides full PC restore and applications backup for PCs.
