Rebit Upgrades Backup Application
Longmont-based Rebit, a startup focused on the backup market, said Wednesday that it will be releasing a new version of its software for backing up multiple PCs. The firm said that the software is an upgrade for its Rebit backup appliance product, which connects into a computer's USB port for continuous backup of PCs and applications. Rebit sells 80GB, 120GB, 160GB, 320GB, and 500GB backup appliances through the channel, and is headed by Lew Frauenfelder, former CEO of Benchmark Storage Innovations, Intellistor, and Fujitsu Computer Products of America.
