Fusion-io Adds Apple's Wozniak To Advisory Board
Fusion-io, a provider of solid-state storage technology, reported Monday that Apple Inc. co-founder and home computer pioneer Steve Wozniak has joined its advisory board. The Salt Lake City, Utah-based company said Wozniak will counsel its CEO, Don Basile, on future market trends while also consulting with senior management on research-and-development efforts and product road mapping. Wozniak will also introduce Fusion-io to key strategic players and potential sales opportunities within the industry, the company noted. In 1976, Wozniak and business partner Steve Jobs established Apple Computer, which abbreviated its name to Apple Inc. in 2007.
