Symplified Names Merrick Business Development VP

Identity management software publisher Symplified reported Monday that Jason Merrick has joined the company as vice president of business development. The Boulder, Colo.-based business said Merrick will concentrate on managing vendor partnerships for Symplified's SinglePoint Network, an open-identity and security system that connects software-as-a-service applications, cloud computing systems and enterprise networks. Symplified described Merrick as a 15-year veteran of the enterprise identity management and security space who most recently worked as vice president of worldwide technical sales at Air Tight Networks. He also served management and technical roles at Teros, Securant Technologies and Memco Software.
