Mocapay Wins Smart Transactions Systems Account

Mocapay, a supplier of mobile payment and marketing services, revealed Thursday that a provider of gift and loyalty card services will use Mocapay technology to power its card-based payment systems. The financial impact of the customer win was not disclosed. Mocapay explained that its marketing and payment platform will allow Smart Transaction Systems to conduct real-time mobile payments, promotions and loyalty transactions at virtually any point of sale. Mocapay said the two Boulder, Colo.-based companies will launch a pilot later this year. The test program will involve selected participants from STS’s roster of 4,500 retail clients, Mocapay added.
