Tendril Hires Trio Of New Execs
Tendril, a Boulder, Colo.-based publisher of software applications for the utilities industry, reported Monday that it has added three executives to its management team. Specifically, Tendril said it has hired Andy Wheeler as chief technology officer, Kent Dickson as vice president of engineering and Marcelo Bergquist as vice president of operations. Before Tendril, Wheeler co-founded Ember Corp., a provider of ZigBee network software and system-on-chip devices. A 17-year engineering veteran, Dickson most recently served as vice president of engineering at BEA Systems Inc. And Bergquist, who boasts more than 33 years of experience in operations management, comes to Tendril after positions with the U.S. Army, Texas Instruments, Maxtor Corp., Exabyte Corp. and Kramer ID, which he co-owned.
