Associated Content Hires Community VP

Denver-based Associated Content, developers of an online blog publishing network, reported Tuesday that it has hired Lisa Harman Gooder as vice president of community. Working out of the company's New York office, Gooder will recruit new users and work with existing members to develop an active community of people who publish content through the firm's web site. Prior to joining Associated Content, Gooder spent 10 years at The Knot Inc., where she worked as director of member services and helped grow the company's membership to more than 1 million active users. Associated Content is venture backed by Angel Investors LP, Canaan Partners, and SoftBank Capital.
