Rocky Mountain Voices Launches Through PodTech
A new, podcast community Rocky Mountain Voices said Thursday that it is launching a new social media community to produce and distribute podcasts through Silicon Valley-based PodTech Network. The new community, which was founded by four marketing executives from Utah companies, said that it will focus on podcasting content about technology and media. The community's founders include Cydni Tetro of NextPage, Tim Kapp of BayHill Group, Kip Meacham of Card Access, and Brad Baldwin of Agilix Labs. Rocky Mountain Voice joins a number of podcasting efforts in the region, including podcasts in Colorado by David Cohen, a serial entrepreneur who operates ColoradoStartups.com, and streaming Internet radio and podcasts from w3w3.com, which interviews Rocky Mountain executives. The deal follows a series of podcasts from PodTech's John Furrier last fall.
