Intermap Gets Win At Magellan
Denver, Colorado-based GIS data provider Intermap's technology is powering the latest GPS devices from Magellan, the firms said Monday. Magellan said that its new AccuTerra outdoor map content from Intermap Technologies will be available in April, and will allow Magellan customers to download recreational content--including public and private property lines, digital terrain data, off-road roads and trails, and other points of interest for the United States. The new content will be available for download on Magellan's web site. Cost of the new data sets was not announced by the firms. Intermap is a provider of 3D digital models used by geographical information systems and other mapping related software and products.
