Intermap Adds Magellan
Denver-based GIS information provider Intermap Technologies has signed on another customer, the firm said Monday. According to Intermap, Magellan, a manufacturer of GPS (global positioning system) products, said it will use Intermap's data for a line of handheld GPS devices. The deal covers map data for the 48 contiguous states and Hawaii. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Intermap provides digital mapping data; Magellan manufactures GPS receivers for the consumer market.
