Datavail Buys Blue Gecko

Broomfield, Colorado-based Datavail, a provider of remote database administration services, said today that it has acquired Blue Gecko, a fellow provider of remote database administration (DBA) services. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Datavail said the move would add more than 100 customers, hundreds of projects, and highly skilled employees to the firm. Datavail said Blue Gecko has 75 percent of its customers in the Pacific Northwest.
