Overstock Adds Joyce To Board

Online retailer Overstock.com Inc. reported earlier this week that its board of directors has appointed James V. Joyce as its newest member, effective immediately. Joyce, Overstock explained, is the chief executive officer of Icent LLC and has provided Overstock with organizational consulting services since 2005. He has also consulted for many other businesses, Overstock noted, and has worked for Bain Consulting. Joyce holds a BA and MA in Jurisprudence from the University of Oxford and an MBA from Dartmouth College. Headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah, Overstock.com is an online "closeout" retailer of discount, brand-name merchandise.
