PCT Acquires Canada's Think Broadband
PCT International Inc., a manufacturer of "last-mile" computer networking equipment, announced Monday that it has acquired Canada-based Think Broadband Solutions from Wi-LAN Inc. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. However, PCT said the transaction includes the purchase of certain inventory, capital assets and all applicable customer contracts, agreements and existing sales projects related to Think Broadband's cable and services business. PCT added that all of Think Broadband's Canadian operations will remain at their current location and that associated staff have accepted positions with PCT. PCT International is headquartered in Tempe, Ariz., and employs more than 1,500 people worldwide.
