Solera Ups Capture Speed

Lindon, Utah-based Solera Networks, a provider of network packet capture appliances, said Thursday that the firm's products now support 10Gbps networks. According to Solera, its new DS 5100 series of appliances can now provide lossless, deep packet capture and recording of fully saturated 10Gb networks. Solera's products are used to capture network packets to storage, for analysis by network security and network administrators. Solera is venture backed by the Canopy Group.
