Amkor Bumps Solomon to CFO, Corporate VP

Amkor Technology Inc., a semiconductor device manufacturer and tester, announced Tuesday that it has promoted Joanne Solomon to corporate vice president and chief financial officer, effective immediately. The Chandler, Ariz.-based company said Solomon succeeds Ken Joyce, who was recently elevated to the newly created position of chief administrative officer. Amkor said Joyce joined the company in 1997 and later served as CFO for more than eight years. Solomon, Amkor noted, has acted as corporate controller and senior vice president of finance since 2006. She joined the company in 2000, Amkor added.
