Level 3 Signs Jangl As Customer

Internet access and telecommunications provider Level 3 Communications Inc. reported today that Jangl, a provider of anonymous telephone and texting communication services, will use Level 3's wholesale voice and data offerings to offer its customers with integrated wireline/wireless Voice-over-Internet Protocol services. Jangl's service, which is distributed from its Jangl.com Web site, allows people to have phone conversations without sharing their personal information. Level 3 said its multi-year agreement with Jangl specifies that Level 3 will provide local inbound, voice termination, international voice termination, toll free and high-speed IP services. Jangl is based in Pleasanton, Calif. Level 3 Communications is headquartered in Broomfield, Colo., a Denver suburb.
