Level 3 Signs Ice Cream Distributor

Broomfield, Colorado-based Level 3 Communications reported today that it has signed Blue Bell Creameries, an ice cream distributor based in Texas, as a customer. Level 3, which provides fiber-based connectivity to companies, said Blue Bell is using its Internet Protocol virtual private network services, replacing a prior frame relay service. Financial details of the win were not disclosed.
