DirectPointe Acquires IT Provider

Lindon, Utah-based information technology consulting and outsourcing firm DirectPointe Inc. announced Wednesday that it has acquired TechnologyWorks and its client base. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Founded in 2003, TechnologyWorks catered to the IT needs of small- to mid-size businesses in the Boston and San Francisco markets. DirectPointe noted that TechnologyWorks partnered with Dell, Microsoft and Linksys in order to better serve its clients. DirectPointe said that existing TechnologyWorks contracts will remain in place, with each customer having the option to add DirectPointe services and support.
